No stranger to fantastic cover versions (Ryan Adam's version of 'Wonderwall' is one of the most played first dance songs for weddings in the UK) his mastery of song is akin to alchemy.
He is by no means the first country singer (I know he is so much more than this, but for the sake of argument) to tackle pop, but how about pop having a go at country? Listen to some 'mixed' results here:
